We'll start with the yard. Here's the front of the house. Thanks to all the rain we've had, the lawn has recovered substantially since these pictures were taken.
The front/side. This is the only glimpse of the sun porch on the back.
Looking from the front to the other side of the house. The swamp cooler is in our bedroom window, and you can't see them really, but there are clotheslines here.
Back into that side yard. This gives a good view of our fruit trees. Nearest to farthest they are cherry, peach, and two kinds of apple.
Looking back at the side yard the other way.
And here we are back behind the fruit trees. The property extends even farther than this.
Now imagine you've turned left. You're now seeing the back of the garage/workshop. We intend to put chickens in that fenced area.
Keep turning to your left, and now you see the corner of the L shaped fenced in area that used to house horses. We'll probably have milk goats and our garden back here.
And now we'll jump back to the porch side of the house where the driveway is. I just had to include this picture of my honey enjoying himself. :)
I think I'll save the interior pictures for tomorrow. But this at least gives an idea of the yard, which was one of the major reasons we felt so attracted to this place. Loads of potential!
That does look really nice! Your kids are going to have so much fun in that yard!
ReplyDeletewhat a darling home! I am jealous of those fruit trees! we found one little peach tree upon further inspection of our new home, but nothing like your orchard ;)
ReplyDeleteTo clarify, you didn't specify what pictures you wanted. You just said "take some pictures". With instructions so vague you're lucky you got what you did!
ReplyDeleteLooks darling! Talk about atmosphere. My imagination is running wild!
ReplyDeleteTotally unique!! Can't wait to see the inside!!! Love it!
