Ethan loves to help me clean. Sometimes he likes it a little too much (dishes tantrum, anyone?), but today we really had fun together. (Please excuse the low quality pics and video from my phone.)
Yeah, Ethan throws a fit sometimes if I don't let him "help" me with the dishes. I thought I remembered you saying your kids liked to do that too.
He is making the S sound, but it's a new thing. I just started doing it for sock while I was folding, but I don't think it actually means anything to him yet. He was just copying me. :)
I remember my parents refusing to let me do the dishes when I was younger (by myself) I was so bummed! By the time I was "allowed" as part of my chores I thought it was a great honor! :)
Cute. My kids have all loved to "help" with the dishes and get mad when I turn the water off or don't let them make a mess all over the floor.
ReplyDeleteIs Ethan making the S sound in that video? I couldn't quite tell. Lucas likes to make that sound too, but it usually means Snake and not sock. ;-0

ReplyDeleteI remember doing dishes with you during one of our summer visits. Spoons were girls and forks were boys. We have a lot of good memories, don't we? :)
